Very special Night

Posted by doylejsgirl on 10/16/2009

My husband took me here for our wedding anniversary. The food was great but the service was even better. We had Justin as our server, who catered to our every need. Very romantic spot I would go back again for sure!!

Really bad and slow service!!

We went to this restaurant with 2 other couples to celebrate my birthday. This is a restaurant my husband I have been wanting to try for long time. Well, first we waited 1.5 hours for our first round of drinks. When the waiter finally brought the drinks, the drink order was wrong. He then delivered each drink 1 by 1 and still kept getting it wrong. We finally placed our order and received our meals about 1 hour later. In all my years of eating out, I have never experienced such slow service. For an expensive restaurant, this type of service is unacceptable and so dissapointing. The service was so "over the top" bad that at one point, my husband was convinced we were on Candid Camera. Was it the restaurants's fault or just the waiter's fault? Either way, the manager never came over to apologize or make good for all the problems. We were not looking for a handout but some type or recognition for the slow service. We tried calling other restaurants from the table but all the places were booked. Fortunately, we are a pretty easy going group of people who are already laughing about it. But, with that said, we will never go there again. Our reservation was for 8:30 and we didn't receive our drinks until 10 and our food until 11. We finally left at 12:30. It was a painful experience. Never again

Best Restaurant in Plymouth

This is my favorite place in Plymouth, the food is fabulous always made to order, the service is wonderful and the location and view is one of the best in Plymouth! My husband and I are always pleased with our meals and the specials are to die for!

Disappointing

When our entrees were served, we had to wait a few precious minutes for forks, as our food slowly cooled. The salmon special was fine but unremarkable. The lasagna was limp with overcooked noodles. A busboy whisked away my plate while I was still chewing. All of this would be acceptable in a mom&pop operation but at these prices I expect better.

Terrific

Definitely the nicest restaurant in Plymouth-- went here with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. They have a great martini list and the food is incredible. The dining room is all glass and candlelit and the servers are friendly. It's a little expensive, but well worth it!
